"In Pokémon Stadium, the Drowzee mini-game (Snore War) involved putting other players to sleep, and in the end, all the Drowzee would end asleep anyway. Ironically, in Generation III, Drowzee is given the Ability Insomnia making it impossible for it to fall asleep."

This is the best thing in life when you’re trying to capture a new Poké, but a pain in the ass when you’re just training.

Medicinal use in Pokémon

soapy-illusions:

Medicinal use in Pokémon is something I’ve only recently been paying attention to. Yeah, I’m lame like that. In the anime, potions, super potions, antidotes and such are depicted as sprays, instantly healing the Pokémon upon contact. The video games have altered the look of healing items to reflect this, which is all well and good, but trouble starts brewing when we get to the inclusion of soft drinks (soda). I’ve always assumed that such drinks would be drunk whole by the Pokémon but then I realised that not all Pokémon have mouths and putting a nozzle on the liquid and spraying it onto them would be a sticky experience. How then does one apply these healing items to their poor, beat up creatures?

I don’t know about you but pouring lemonade over my cuts, bruises and burns is totally refreshing!

Is the second one for real? It’s probably from FireRed. Never played FireRed, just the original Red.

Oh that’s okay, I didn’t want to read your moves anyway.

I’ve heard of it, but I had never seen an Ashachu before.
