An then Hiro goes 6 months back in time and they live Saving Charlie’s love story. But she dies anyway, and he goes on his journey to kill Sylar and so on.
Then four years later Hiro is dying and he remembers that he loves her and goes back in time, effectively rescues her from Sylar but she ends up in 1950 or some shit thanks to damn Sullivan and his gang.
Basically, shipping Hiro and Charlie is wanting to suffer.
Peter teleported him and her into the future, which happened to be the Outbreak Future. When Peter came back and destroyed the future, the outbreak future did not happen. In Season 1, Ando saw the café change when Hiro came back in time and changed it. So, Caitlin should have seen the apocalyptic NY change into a normal one once Peter teleported back in time. That’s what I think.
